On Wednesday, Oct. 9th and Thursday, Oct. 10 the FHS Film Program attended the Annual Ozark Media Arts Festival (OMAF) in Springdale, AR at the Arts Center of the Ozarks and Apollo Theatre. Here is a list of awards earned:
3rd Place: Charlie Baker for Animation
3rd Place: Harrison Bradford, Bella Warner, Obediah Kimmel, Will Bratton, and Brett Helms for Feature Film
2nd Place: Obediah Kimmel for Production PSA
2nd Place: Noah Chacon for Program Demo Reel
2nd Place: Bella Warner and Obediah Kimmel for Convention Recap
1st Place: Charlie Baker for Experimental Film
1st Place: Ian Linn, Collin Schultz, Harrison Bradford, Charlie Baker, and Noah Chacon for 30 Second Film
Noah Chacon won Filmmaker of the Year
Lesley Allen won Teacher of the Year

Congratulations to the @FayettevilleHS Marching Band for winning 1st place (Grand Champions) in the Bentonville Marching Invitational with a clean sweep of all the individual caption awards (music, visual, general effect). The FHS Color Guard was also named "best in class."
